Two Chicks Quilting at the Spelling Bee

As you know, Two Chicks Quilting loves to support our community through school organizations, non-profits, and local community events. So when the Friends of the Jackson County Memorial Library put together the Second Annual Adult Spelling Bee at the end of November, of course we had to get involved as a Bumble Bee Sponsor!

The Spelling Bee had plenty going on even if you weren’t so sure about your winning spelling skills. There was a tasty chicken spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and additional prizes for the teams that competed in the Bee. The dinner was delicious and the Friends of the Jackson County Memorial Library did a great job with decorations.

Stepping Up quilt pattern in Harry Potter Fabrics

We donated a quilt made from Harry Potter fabrics for the silent auction. The quilt pattern is Stepping Up by Fabric Café.

Two Chicks had a group of nine of us go, with four of the Chicks on a Spelling Team. Did you think we weren’t going to win? Well, we didn’t. But we did win Best Dressed! Our team name was the Best Clucking Spelling Team.

It was a clucking good time!
